Scarapers, are used to gather mud accumulated in the sludge condensing and sedimentation units, and to gather foams on the surface of the sedimentation units and to seperate sand oil in the treatment part. There are two different type of scrapers.
Circular Scrapers
Circular scrapers are used in sedimentation pools and in sludge condensing pools.
Scrapers are used to gather mud accumulated at bottom of the pools.
Accumulated muds on the bottom of the pools are transferred to conical part of pools by using crapers. Foams accumulated on surface of sedimentation pools are transferred to a certain place by using foam scrapers.
Scarapers used in sedimentation pools are driven from the sides. Scrapers used in condensing pools are driven from center.
Length of bridges can be designed in different sizes depending on the situation of the mud in the pool.
Length of the bridges can be designed as half of the diameter of the pool or smaller than the half of diameter of the pool or greater than the half of diameter of the pool.
Sedimentation pool scrapers consist of, bridge foam scraper, sludge scraper, central structure and driving group.
Condensing poll scrapers consist of, central structure and driving group, sludge scraper and scraping arms.
Linear Scrapers
Linear scrapers are used to seperate sand and oil in pretreatment part of treatment facilities or in sand holders and oil holders of treatment facilities.
Linear scrapers can be designed in different types.
Scraper blades can be used to gather accumulated sand at the bottom and to collect accumulated oil on the surface. If desired and there is not much oil on the surface of the pool, pumps hung on bridge can be used to gather accumulated sand at the bottom without need of collecting oil on the surface.
Oil and sand are transferred to the collection pit at the begining of pool, by using scraper blades.
Wastes are removed by pumps.
Power cables are manufactured as cable winding drum or moving power cables.
Linear Scrapers are used in sedimentation tanks.
The aim of the system is the same as in circular sedimentation tank scrapers.
Circular scrapers rotate around the pool. They scrape mud at bottom of the pool then they gather mud in the middle of the pool then remove from the pool.
Linear scrapers move back and forth along the pool. They transport mud to collecting pit at the begining of the pool.
Then, mud is removed by pumps or gravity.
